EXPANDED PODCAST WITH LACY PHILLIPS
Episode: Ep. 68 - Understanding the Energetics of Manifestation with Krista & Lindsey of Almost 30 Podcast
“In this episode Lacy Phillips explains her manifestation process, and how in order to manifest that we must first heal our inner child and our subconscious. Our subconscious must also believe we are worthy of what our conscious minds are wanting in order to actually manifest it. I have found as I’ve been a hobby photographer, wanting to grow my photography into something bigger, that a large part includes doing the internal work, and looking inward. This episode opened my eyes to the subconscious world.”

THE MOTH
Episode: It's the diversity of the episodes that makes it my favorite podcast. Start with any!
“I love it cause it makes me appreciate the many different forms and styles storytelling can come in. The stories are diverse, beautiful, personal, and crafted artfully. Many of my favourite episodes exemplify that stories can come from very little and that the most important part of storytelling is the observing of self, people and relationships.”

MARK MANSON AUDIO ARTICLES
Episode: Why Being an A*****e Can Be a Valuable Life Skill
“I love this episode because it speaks so much truth for me and has given me a different perspective. I think sometimes we can be too nice and not look after ourselves and this podcast talks about exactly that.”
Frøydis Geithus
THE SCHOOL OF GREATNESS
Episode: Dr. Joe Dispenza: How To Hack Your Mind (And Heart) to Change Your Life
“I find it so fascinating how much we can change the world and ourselves, by changing the way we think. I truly believe in the law of attraction, and that what you send out you get back. I have followed Dr. Joe Dispenza for years, and have learned so much about myself. Also he has great meditations.”
Logan Cole
THE LITURGISTS PODCAST
Episode: The Enneagram (Episode 37)
“I love this episode of The Liturgists where Michael Gungor and Science Mike talk about the Enneagram with Ian Cron and Suzanne Stabile. It allowed me to understand different personalities, how their brains work and how they function emotionally vs how I operate. Btw, I’m 3w4.”
Mónika Frias
HOW TO FAIL WITH ELIZABETH DAY
Episode: S1, Ep1 How To Fail - Phoebe Waller-Bridge
“I LOVE this woman (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) love her work and LOOOVE how she makes me feel better about being a total disaster. In this episode she speaks about failure and emotional vulnerability, and I just love how she makes it ok. NOTE: THIS WHOLE PODCAST IS AMAZING.”
Yan Palmer
ON BEING WITH KRISTA TIPPETT
Episode: Sandra Cisneros: A House of Her Own
“The best podcast of all time is ‘On Being’, because of the deepest conversations with the most brilliant thinkers. From scientists to activists, to priests, to poets. Life's biggest questions and never settling on cut and dry answers. For human humor tastes - I would start with the episode with Sandra Cisneros. She is a strong female protagonist comedian in her own story.”
Sam Hurd
EXPONENT
Episode: Episode 182 — Scale, scale, scale
“Exponent is a tech podcast focusing on how technology is changing society... mostly from a business perspective. This episode has the hosts discussing the FCC's decision to block the acquisition of Harry's razors by a large FMCG company.”

REPLY ALL
Episode: The Snapchat Thief
“This is the most entertaining podcast about the most ridiculous topics of all times. It has something that we (photographers) could really get inspired by - which is amazing story telling. Hosted by PJ Vogt and Alex Godman. My favourite episode is The Snapchat Thief and it goes deep into the world of hackers and shows how vulnerable we are on the internet.”
Sachin Khona
THE TONY ROBBINS PODCASTS
Episode: The mindset you need for a truly magnificent life | Knowing the gift of grace
“Jenn's story is so moving, under extremely sad and difficult circumstances, her story inspired me to change the meaning of the events and circumstances we face in our life. The choice is ours. Jenn was abandoned at a bus stop in her village in India and instead of letting that have a negative impact on her life for years to come, she kept her heart open and her faith strong. Listen to learn how your mindset can lead to an incredible life.”
Posy Quarterman
DOLLY PARTON’S AMERICA
Episode: The Only One For Me, Jolene
“The Jolene episode of Dolly Parton’s America is both endearing and super interesting. I love that whole podcast but that episode has been my favorite.”
Joel Alston
WAY UP NORTH PODCAST
Episode: Ryan Muirhead
“Like most photographers I am sure, I am moved and amazing by Ryan's work. But I love this podcast because of his honest, raw and complete vulnerability. People see vulnerability as a weakness in our society, and that we should protect and not trust everyone. Complete and utter vulnerability is what I push in my life as well, to hear someone else do this but with such a traumatising past and be open and honest about it is super inspiring. I feel very empowered by Ryan's podcast and love to listen to it whenever I am questioning myself or struggling.”

Sounds Good with Branden Harvey
Episode: Nate Snell — Community Not Competition
“Branden Harvey, who runs a Good Newspaper project, interviews a founder of a local donut shop about his community over competition approach to business. As a freelancer in such a saturated market here in the PNW, it was very refreshing to hear such a positive perspective and to see how you can run a successful business while also cheering for your competitors. All of Branden's episodes are very encouraging and focusing on the good in the world, definitely one of my all time faves.”
Annemie Tonken
BROOKE CASTILLO'S "THE LIFE COACH SCHOOL" PODCAST
Episode: #261: Throw Away Your To Do List
“I love Brooke Castillo's "The Life Coach School" Podcast - she talks a lot about managing your mindset, which is relevant to pretty much anyone but has been HUGELY helpful to me as an entrepreneur. It's also worth noting that even though a lot of people who talk about mindset are super woo woo, Brooke is not - I find her methods very actionable. In this episode she talks about her time management system.”
Lisa Devlin
THE CONFIDENCE CLUB PODCAST
Episode: 2: Interview with self-love advocate, tapping queen and manifestation maestro, Gala Darling
“This is hosted by my good friend Kat Williams from the Rock n Roll Bride blog but the focus of the series is positivity and overcoming anxiety. In this one she interviews Gala Darling who wrote the Radical Self Love book. It’s a feel good look at how you can still chase your dreams even now and how Tapping/EFT can help you. This is totally the trip I’m on right now.”
Mark Pacura
HOW I BUILT THIS WITH GUY RAZ
Episode: Burton Snowboards: Jake Carpenter
“This is my favourite episode of (my favourite) NPR ‘How I built this’ podcast. The story of Jake Carpenter, the founder of Burton, who sadly passed away a few months ago. A remarkable story of not just building a completely new product against all odds, but creating the culture around it that changed the world of winter sports forever.”
Story of Eve
HOW I BUILT THIS WITH GUY RAZ
Episode: Away: Jen Rubio
“How I Built This' is an uplifting, motivating and inspiring podcast at a time when we need to hear stories from others who have faced great challenges only to have these turned around into life-changing positive opportunities. The interviews span many industries with the creatives behind famous brands such as FIVE GUYS, Spanx, Canva, Wikipedia, AirBnB and Whole Foods to name a few. I've been listening to this podcast since 2017 and never miss an episode. There's something for everyone!”

MINDFULNESS IN 8 WEEKS: 20 MINUTES A DAY PROGRAM

YOU MADE IT WEIRD
Episode: #238 Peter Rollins
“I keep coming back to this weird and funny conversation between Pete, the comedian, and Peter, the philosopher and with each listen I discover something new. I don’t want to do them a disservice by simplified description, but I like how they seem to explore some dark areas of the soul with empathy and lightness.”
Nadia Meli
MY DAD WROTE A PORNO
Episode: S1E1 - ‘The Job Interview’
“I can't pick one episode because it's a series so you have to start with episode 1 - It's hilarious already just listening to the pilot! The BEST pick me up in these times! You will laugh, guaranteed! There is no way you will not laugh at this.”
Lukas Piatek
TALK IS JERICHO
Episode: The Emancipation of Jon Moxley
“If anyone is a wrestling fan out there, you should listen to this episode from the Talk is Jericho Podcast. Former WWE Superstar Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) is talking about how awful the behind the scenes situation in the WWE is.”
Cole Roberts
HOW I BUILT THIS WITH GUY RAZ
Episode: Chicken Salad Chick: Stacy Brown
“This episode is a story of heart from an unassuming business success. It leaves the listener with the feeling of hope, and also that life and business do not need to be overly complicated. Find what you love, invest everything you have into that thing, and good things follow.”
Alan Law
DESERT ISLAND DISCS
Episode: Ed Sheeran
“The reason I chose this episode is that it’s totally inspiring; Ed Sheeran gets a lot of flack online, but his story of how he went out into the world and just ‘went for it’, facing adversities along the way, is super to hear. He also comes across really well; you don’t have to be a fan of his music to get lots from his words. As an aside, Desert Island Discs is just brilliant; there are thousands of episodes to delve into, with people from all walks of life, each inspiring in their own way. Listening to this show actually inspired me to start the This is Reportage Podcast; I love it.”
Vik Manchanda
THE TIM FERRISS SHOW
Episode: #343: Seth Godin on How to Say “No,” Market Like a Professional, and Win at Life
“‘The journey of art starts with self-acceptance, the subjective. Once you accept yourself, you are able to move on to the objective, the highest state which is the acceptance of others.’ Jeff Koons
This is certainly my favorite podcast to date. Seth Godin shares so much wisdom and knowledge not just around marketing, but also on how to live a more purposeful life. He teaches us the importance of having boundaries for yourself and others and the power of decision-making. Tim Ferris is truly a master at digging up so many new gems from Seth, and this podcast is truly worth listening to not just once but multiple times.”

CTRL ALT DELETE
Episode: #200 Poorna Bell: In Search Of Silence, Not Self-Help
“This is the podcast I listen to « religiously » this particular episode is with guest Poorna Bell. I loved the honesty and the refreshing outlook with which Poorna looks at life after her husband committed suicide. Listening to that podcast made me want to read her books which I did. She talks about society, women in society, travel, career. It’s a very powerful talk.”

THE GREAT DISCONTENT
Episode: 004 Aparna Nancherla & Debbie Millman - “Aha!” moments, the magic of connection, and finding courage instead of passion
“The Great Discontent is both an online and print journal, as well as a wonderful podcast for creatives to listen to when they feel in a rut. We are all going through it, this ‘great discontent’ with our work - not feeling enough, not feeling satisfied with what we are making, not feeling successful enough. The Great Discontent sheds some light (and encouragement) on the subject through interviews with designers, photographers, writers and more who have all ‘gone through it’ as well.
Although they stopped making episodes at the end of 2017, it’s still one of my favorite podcasts, and a great one to listen to throughout the day to keep you motivated. All episodes are great, but I recommend starting with episode four.”
