The Benefits of Multiple Brands

The Benefits of Multiple Brands

Branching out into multiple photography brands is a milestone in the journey of every photographer’s business as they expand and grow it. As work in different genres develops, keeping your offerings clear to your clients can become challenging. Often to the point of not being sure who you are talking to on your website, on social media or at events.

A solution for that can be growing the different genres you work in into separate brands.

Expanding Into Multi-Brand

A multi-brand approach helps you focus on letting future clients clearly understand your offering. It enables you to meet various marketing needs such as: reaching different groups of clients more effectively and enjoying creativity in each genre that you work in.

Having multiple photography brands doesn't split your identity – it makes it stronger!

Inspiration From Multi-Brand Photographers

We’ve gathered some examples from photographers on Pic-Time who are managing different brands to get you inspired to start your own multi-brand journey!

Styrmir & Heiðdís Photography + My Nordic Table

Styrmir Kári & Heiðdís, a husband and wife photography team based in Iceland, have built and manage two separate brands: Styrmir & Heiðdís Photography for weddings and couples, and My Nordic Table for food photography.

Each brand has its own website, social media account, logos, and email address but are both managed on the same Pic-Time account. This allows the duo to easily toggle between their two brands, ensuring each brand has its own distinct branding and portfolio.

Sean Bell Photography +  We Are Elopers

Sean Bell is a photographer and videographer who manages two brands in the wedding space: Sean Bell Photography and WeAreElopers. Both brands specialize in elopement and wedding photography, but with one main difference.

WeAreElopers is a joint venture between Sean and his partner Justyna. Under this brand, Justyna photographs couples' moments while Sean crafts wedding films as a videographer.

Sean Bell Photography showcases only Sean's individual creative work with weddings. Having two brands allows Sean to develop in two different business branches, giving each one a full space for growth.

• Have a branded Pic-Time URL for each brand
• Have separate logos and watermarks
• All in-system links will lead to the relevant social media accounts and contact information for each brand
• Create a project template for each brand with key gallery settings
• A custom branded portfolio page for each brand
• Use Facebook Pixel to measure, optimize and build audiences for your ad campaigns
• Connect your Google Analytics account to each brand to track visitors, active users, traffic sources, visited pages, product clicks, order value etc.
