Holiday Campaigns 2021
The holidays are the prime time of the year for print sales, with over 40% of the year’s revenue generated during this time. As with every holiday season, we’ve released a family of Holiday Sale Campaigns to help you create a professional and engaging seasonal sale.
This year, we’ve created three different product-focused campaigns in addition to the Classic Holiday Sale (for Client & Art Galleries), which is always a big success!

Campaign Timeline
To help you plan the flow of the different apps we’ve created a recommended timeline based on the production cycle of our print labs, with consideration to timed breaks in between different campaigns. Be sure to check out all of the shipping deadlines for individual labs.

*The recommended dates for the Cards Sale and Ornaments Sale are the same, so you can choose one of the two, or adjust the dates and run both campaigns.
**An optional teaser email is included which will be sent on November 15
Install Your Apps
You can find the Holiday Apps under Sales & Automation > Campaigns in your account. The apps are all ready to use and all you need to do is install them in order to apply them to your galleries. We advise you to review the copy, visuals and discount amount, just to make sure it fits your voice and style.
New! Change Visuals with a Click
This year you can easily change a set of visuals for all your campaign emails & banners by choosing a design template.
New Email Template
We’re always aiming to create impactful materials that will engage with your clients. This year we’ve added a new template that displays products from your store with your client’s favorite images in them! You can customize your email design by choosing different products (including Greeting Cards, Ornaments, Albums, and more) as well as changing the background, button colors and style of your email.
Classic Holiday Sale App
The Classic Holiday campaign is tailored for the holiday season and based on last year’s data. It is proven to be very successful and most effective with two phases: one for Black Friday and one for the Holidays. This year we recommend starting the sale a bit earlier based on data from 2020, as we’ve seen that sales are starting to ramp up a week before Black Friday starts.
What’s Included?
The app starts with a teaser email and is divided into two phases: The Black Friday/Cyber Monday phase and the Holiday phase. Each stage includes a set of ready-to-use emails, gallery/store banners, and discount amounts — all fully customizable to fit your preferences.
The app features a storewide discount that changes over the course of the campaign, with the highest discount active during the Black Friday phase and a slight decrease in discount during the Holiday phase.

Campaign Duration
The entire campaign lasts for 18 days and is divided into two phases. For each phase, there is a recommended start date, but you can always change it.
1. Black Friday
This sale begins 8 days before Black Friday and ends on Cyber Monday. We have two fixed dates to ensure a successful sale: Black Friday Eve (November 25) and Cyber Monday (November 29).
Suggested Timeframe: November 18 - November 29
2. Holiday Campaign
This sale begins one week after Cyber Monday and ends mid-December. The dates are flexible, but we suggest not pushing the dates too late in December, so your clients have plenty of time to get their gifts under the tree!
Suggested Timeframe: December 6 - December 13
New! Classic Holiday Sale for Art Galleries
The Classic Holiday Sale is now available for your Art Galleries! The holidays present a great opportunity to host a sale in your Art Gallery, and engage with your audience by offering them a special discount.
What’s Included?
We’ve prepared all of the copy for the campaign funnel, from emails to banners that will be displayed in your Art Gallery. The Art Gallery campaign includes 1 banner and 7 different emails for the two phases.
Campaign Duration
Just like our client galleries campaign, the entire campaign lasts for 18 days and is divided into two phases: The Black Friday phase and the Holiday phase. There are two fixed sale dates to ensure a successful sale: Black Friday Eve (November 25) and Cyber Monday (November 29).

Holiday Albums Sale
Launch your holiday campaigns with an album sale! Your clients will not only enjoy the process of making their album – they’ll love having a tangible product they can gift or flip through for years to come. We recommend starting with this sale, considering the production and delivery time that goes into this product.
What’s Included? This app features a ready-made campaign funnel with 4 different emails, followed by different banners in the gallery and store, all focused on the album sale. Holiday Cards Sale
Nothing gets people in the holiday spirit like holiday cards! They are easy and fun to create and clients can print them directly from the gallery. Clients can choose from different designs and background colors, and even add foil stamping, which we released last year.
What’s Included? We’ve taken care of everything, from the gallery and store banners to email assets, visuals, and more. Holiday Ornaments Sale
Ornaments are a new addition to the Pic-Time store, and we’re excited for you to offer this option! It’s one of the most iconic objects and classic gifts for the holiday season. Your clients are sure to treasure this special keepsake for years to come.
