Tips for Your Art Gallery Holiday Sale

The holidays present a great opportunity to engage with your audience by offering them a special discount that will grab their attention and provide an opportunity to buy a unique gift. We've gathered all you need to know as you prepare your Art Gallery for the big sale!

 
 

Get Your Campaign Ready 

The Classic Holiday Sale app is a ready-to-go campaign with a marketing funnel of emails and gallery banners, including all the visuals, and copy. We recommend reviewing the content to see that the tone and images fit your brand identity. You can always edit the text to your unique voice, plus we have tons of banner images to choose from or you can upload your own! To discover more campaign settings, click here

Price Settings

Our app has a recommended discount between 25%-40% but can be edited in the app settings. It’s important to make sure, before starting your sale, that you have enough margin with your prices, which will leave you with profit after 30%.

Timezone Configuration 

For the Black Friday sale, we’ve scheduled 2 emails to send at a fixed time for the best engagement, based on last year’s data. This means that adjusting your timezone settings is crucial. You can change the timezone in your account settings to ensure that your clients receive reminder emails at the most optimal times.

If you have clients from a few different regions, set your time zone to accommodate the majority of your clients. 

Polishing Up Your Gallery 

A holiday sale is a great opportunity to polish up your Art Gallery! You can add your latest works, or just freshen up your design if needed. In case you missed it – we've introduced a new feature for adding interior images to each one of your images.

 
 

Marketing Your Sale 

Expand your Audience by inviting client gallery visitors

Sending an email about your sale is always a great way to initially reach out. If you’re using Pic-Time for your client galleries, then you can also add your ‘Client Galleries Visitors’ to the campaign. When you activate your campaign, make sure ‘Invite Client Galleries Visitors’ is selected. This will add all the emails collected through your client galleries, and that way it expands your reach.

Social Media

Keeping your Art Gallery in the minds of your audience is key, especially when there’s a holiday sale happening. Use any social media channel you’re engaged with and let them know about your sale. 

Sharing your images provides the best opportunity to talk about your work. You can post images from your gallery or focus on specific images with context about the work. You can do a live interview with other artists, or plan a giveaway and ask your followers to tag their friends. Get creative and discover the right way for you to be present online, gain more exposure for your work, and draw more people into your Art Gallery.

 
 

Holiday Order Deadlines

The estimated arrival time for product orders can be viewed in the system. If your client chooses a product that will not be delivered in time for Christmas, a checkbox will appear for your client to verify that they understand and accept that their order will not arrive on time. Your client will be able to place their order only after they check this box.

Add Abandoned Cart App

Abandoned Cart is one of our most successful apps and we highly recommend adding it to your galleries. This app will send a discount that lasts for 24 hours. The app works by selecting the best discount combination for your client. Please note that if the abandoned cart discount is lower than the campaign discount, then it will use the campaign one instead. If you want the abandoned cart discount to be added, you need to set it as stackable.
