Introducing: Art Galleries

Introducing: Art Galleries

We know that for so many of you, photography is a true art form, something you approach with soul. We thought that your own work deserves a place of its own and with this in mind, we’ve created Pic-Time Art Galleries.

Our new platform allows you to create your own environment for your art, to showcase and sell your photos.

Your Online Exhibition and Print Store

The Art Gallery is a new form of gallery and print shop. This platform is set up with special tools to help you have the type of presentation and gallery store that is fitting for introducing and selling art.

Your Voice

The context your art is seen in is almost as important as the art itself. With the Art Gallery, we want to help you connect with your viewers on a deeper level.

Art Gallery Main Page | Ryan Muirhead

Each photo or series has a story behind it. Whether it’s the time and the place it was taken, the way it was created, or your idea and thoughts that were behind it. To help you share more about the context of your art, we’ve added the option for text description and even audio recording to each photo.

You can also add a dimensional layer of context to your series/main page by attaching a video in the header.

Your Visual Space

Art is a place of freedom, a place for you to bring your vision, and creating the right visual space for it is important.

The galleries are fully customizable and you can control the colors, the layouts, and even the fonts that match your brand and style.

See Your Art in Print

Prints are an important part of your art practice; from adding the right products in the store and creating limited edition prints, to the logistical side of printing, choosing your lab and getting the product to your client’s hands.

Unlike the client galleries, with the art gallery, the products are fixed with no editing option from the user.

Limited Editions

The practice of creating limited editions is very common in the art world and creates a better value for a specific photo in specific print sizes.

Art Gallery Print | Parker Fitzgerald

The limited edition is more common for bigger print sizes, while the same image can be in an open edition with a smaller size.

Some photographers, like in this example, offer a whole gallery of limited edition products and another gallery for open editions products.

Print Product

Pic-Time is already set up with a variety of products that can be fulfilled with worldwide labs. You can choose any product for each photo, even a few options under the same ones (like having both frames and prints).

Each photo will be viewed as a part of the gallery as a whole, and become its own individual item that can be sold as a print, canvas, frame and more! You can sell prints, set prices for photos individually, and even sell limited editions by setting limits on how many prints you sell of each item.

You can also create a more complicated products like an album or a calendar and sell it as is.

Find Your Lab

The print is an important piece of your art, the physical dimension of your photo. We know how important it is to find the right lab that will fulfill it for you.

Pic-Time’s system is integrated with worldwide labs that will print your images. We recommend ordering a sample print, making sure that the print quality meets your standard.
